Trevor Perkins' filosophy behind Hogget Kitchen is all about the high quality of fresh produce so unique to the Baw Baw Region of West Gippsland. A passion he shares with dear friend and life-long collaborator William Downie, who is well-known for following the same sustainable straightforward approach of letting soil, produce and climate be the driving force behind top produce.

Come and meet Trevor and William at our festival: They are both grateful for being recognised as benchmark food and wine producers, but also know that it's their shared passion that drive their quality, not awards bestowed upon them.

(click on ensembles or compositions for more information)

Arcadia Winds will play Peteris Vasks' Wind Quintet Nr 1 (Music for Fleeting Birds) and Endre Szervánszky's enchanting Quintet for WInds.

Trio Arapiles will play a selection of famous trios and symphonies, reimagined for saxophone, bassoon and piano, including Beethoven's trio WoO37 and Prokofiev's entire Symphony Nr 1.

Jan Menu will introduce you to his wonderful world of colour and improvisation, as one of the world's leading and most lyrical baritone saxophonists. Renowned for his versatility, his mission is to collaborate and explore different genres, something he will most definately do when he joins the Arcadia WInds on stage during this festival. An example of Jan's first ever collaboration with Yarragon Studio's own Niels Bijl: A 5-baritone rendition of Wayne Newton's famous song "Daddy, Don't you walk so fast". Enjoy.
